Dear Taichung Happiers,

Justin’s topic came to me at noon; after finishing studying this article and the questions designed by Justin, I cannot resist the impulse of introducing this topic to Happiers right away. Yes—simply because this topic is so thought-provoking, and this is what always motivates me further. If you are not a leader in your company, this topic can still do you good, because, either you are aware or not, you are in a constant state of being a leader in different contexts: you can be a leader of your family, you can be a leader of a small group in the church/temple, you can even be a leader while initiating another person (yes, even it’s just a person, not too many) into a meaningful communication, etc. My dear friends, I am thrilled to recommend this week’s topic: 7 Reasons Employees Don't Trust Their Leaders.

Everyone has the potential to be an astonishing leader. We are sometimes confused further by asking ourselves “How to nurture the potential”. Hopefully, we can follow the clear instruction left by Steve Jobs: “You have to be burning with ‘an idea, or a problem, or a wrong that you want to right’. If you're not passionate enough from the start, you'll never stick it out.” What I also love to endorse is a must-see, a short performance full of humor and humanity—ladies and gentlemen, the speaker Drew Dudley redefines leadership as a lollipop moment. What? Lollipop? Yes, lollipop!
http://www.ted.com/talks/drew_dudley_everyday_leadership.html

The New York Times best selling author John C. Maxwell encourages people “Leadership is not about titles, positions or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.” No matter what position we hold at work, when the time is right, if we immediately take the action to spread a great idea, we are experiencing the pleasure of being a fantastic leader. Most importantly, leadership needs practice. Now, if we help to forward our weekly article as far and wide as possible, we are the leader of this context. YES!!! Lollipop, anyone?
