1. We all encounter lot of negotiating circumstances such as arguing over price, interviewing, asking boss for a raise, interacting with supervisors or subordinates or making a connection with customers. What negotiation skills would you like to develop? Why? Is negotiation a zero-sum or win-win game?
2. Do you have successful or non-successful stories about bargaining? Could you share with us if you have? What is your mindset of pro or against bargaining? What products are must to haggle and what are not for you? Have you ever negotiated about quality, delivery time, additional service, freebies or installment plan?
3. Do you have experience negotiating a higher salary in a job interview or year-end assessment? Will you be aggressive in getting more or be passive to following the company policy?
4. Do you have experience about fixing a connection by negotiation? It is not easy to fix a connection. What made it falling apart and what made it reunited? Are you afraid of conflict? Have you ever asked a trusted third party to negotiation?
5. Is that likely to be a good negotiator by reading lot of materials in internet or books? Have you ever joined seminars or courses about negotiation skills exercise? Practice makes negotiation perfect. How to get better at negotiation skills?
