Questions for Discussions:
1. In your opinion, where is the gourmet paradise in Taiwan? Why?
2. The city of Taipei applied to be a UNESCO city of gastronomy a couple years ago, while many of the dishes submitted do not originate from Taipei. Do you support it or not? Why?
3. From your viewpoint, are those dishes stated in the article qualified to be the best flavors in Tainan? Why? Is there any other good dish you would like to nominate as a delicacy?
4. Some people might have some complainants about the food in Tainan is too sweet. What’s your idea regarding to this issue?
5. According to the news during this 228 holiday, on the Hai'an Rd, there has been a beef soup eatery attracting lots of people waiting in line in the very early morning. What do you think of this phenomenon? Are you willing to do the same thing for some popular restaurants?
6. It is a fact that more and more tourists come to Tainan to seek the fancy food, particularly during weekends or long holidays. Is it good or bad for local residents? Why?
