Thanks a lot for your attention. Questions:1. What type of investments, such as stock, mutual funds, real estate, or gold, do you prefer? Do you set lock-in benefit or stop-loss point on your investments and carry out the rules, no matter how much you earn or lose? Is it easy or difficult for you to make money from your investments? Why or why not? Do you have any bad investing habits listed in this article?
2. We have been inundated with information related to finance and economics. Do you pay attention to the news or read the books about those topics? We all have heard some people have lost a lot of money in financial products, such as structured notes (連動債) or unlisted securities (未上市股票). It will be less likely for investors to lose money if they have basic understanding of investments. Do you have sufficient knowledge of financial management to protect you from those inappropriate investments? Have you ever taken any financial management courses before? What courses have you taken, if your answer is yes? Some said that it is necessary to put financial education on school curriculum. What is your opinion about this measure?
3. Some said there is no difference between stock investing and gambling. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Why or why not? According to a statistic, 70 percent of lottery winners end up bankrupt. What makes it happen to these lottery winners?
4. Financial freedom is the point when you have saved enough money that can support yourself for the rest of your life. Is financial freedom your goal? How much money is required for your financial freedom and how to achieve that goal? Being tired of the drudgery of work, desiring to have a better life, or feeling insecure about money, what makes you in the pursuit of financial freedom?

Dear Taichung Happiers,
Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted--this is what makes Albert Einstein our best friend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm1cuHMCMIgHow do you picture money and wealth in your mind? How many forms of wealth can we verify and value? Greek philosopher and scientist Aristotle (384–322 BC) revealed our relationship with money. “Money is a guarantee that we may have what we want in the future. Though we need nothing at the moment it insures the possibility of satisfying a new desire when it arises.” So, what freedom do you expect money to bring you? Other than money, what can completely capture our cravings? Money doesn’t grow on trees; nevertheless, money genuinely does grow like trees. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to join our host Kevin, a great gardener of Taichung Happy English Club, in finding our Money Tree.
What critical message coming from money motivates you further? American philosopher and historian Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) endorsed wealth as the ability to fully experience life. (Hey, at least, we can make the Ninja Star with money! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmuG6RpPRnc ) How has the role wealth playing in our life expectations evolved through our life stages? Having won numerous international awards, Spanish novelist Carlos Ruiz Zafón clarified “Making money isn't hard in itself... What's hard is to earn it doing something worth devoting one's life to.” Yes!!! To preserve your Money Tree is to pinpoint what matters most to you--everything else is secondary. Look! As a recognized global visionary and award-winning author, Lynne Twist reassured us that wealth sprouts spontaneously--when we are content, concentrate on what we already have, and command money to comply with our highest commitments for our family, our loved ones, and this world--that’s when we precisely feel prosperous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HL89PCdnCEWhy did the greatest novelist of the Victorian era Charles Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870) finally put “His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him” in A Christmas Carol? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ3lr3urgDU For money without love is like trees without blossoms; money alone can attract no happiness but the power of vanity. Harvard Business School professor Michael Norton analyzed how money can amplify happiness--only if we spend money on others. https://soundcloud.com/harvard/happy-money-the-science-of Moreover, author and leadership speaker Robin Sharma has featured 8 forms of wealth: Inner Wealth, Physical Wealth, Family and Social Wealth, Career Wealth, Economic Wealth, Circle of Genius, Adventure Success, and Impact Wealth. Now, please allow me to add one more: Compassion Wealth. Instead of requiring any explanation, pray for this little girl Ava, and the enlightenment will be within ourselves. https://www.facebook.com/teamavabright/From “When Giving Is All We Have” (by Alberto Ríos)
Giving is, first and every time, hand to hand,
Mine to yours, yours to mine.
You gave me blue and I gave you yellow.
Together we are simple green. You gave me
What you did not have, and I gave you
What I had to give—together, we made
Something greater from the difference
To live in hope for a promising future is to invest in ourselves, invest in children, and invest in our society. The Founding Father of the United States Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 – April 17, 1790) was an expert on Finance. “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Furthermore, investing in children takes patience and persistence, and the guaranteed return is their faithful eyes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUwm0BSJc4Q Consequently, how these kids can inspire individuals and the whole society is beyond our expectation and imagination. This request of “This Country Needs More Spunk” says it best. https://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2016/08/18/asked-and-answered-country-needs-more-spunkAcknowledged as one of New York Magazine’s Best Doctors, Steven J. Lee, M.D. gifted us the memorable meditation on money: "Thou shalt not forget that money is only money and not character or fame." Let’s always bear in mind that the Money Tree is truly the faithful twin of the Giving Tree. As always, we greatly appreciate your participation and contribution. Here is my wish for you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1uBq8N4qjc Join us. Thanks. With Gratitude,
Jasmine
