Dear Taichung Happiers,
Life isn’t worth living, unless… https://people.com/travel/el-ateneo-gra ... ore-world/Does life go like a solo dance, and feel like a dream? With a long journey ahead, what do you want to do with the rest of your life? About this, we are in a constant state of puzzlement. Nevertheless, The Lord of the Rings didn’t make public, until… until… until the author J.R.R Tolkien was 62! Oh là là!!! Perhaps, life is always like that, the light of possibility constantly playing hide-and-seek, as we passionately make our way through. Nonetheless, who are the people living in a more black-and-white world, which campaigns for more binary choices: yes or no, back or forth, right or wrong? Or, is every lost moment the life? What carries us off to other ways of feeling, thinking, and living? Can a moment be everything? Can a thought be everything? Can each of us be everything? What is the essential being? We’d come to this world for a reason, and never escape from ourselves. British novelist, screenwriter, and fighter pilot Roald Dahl (13 September 1916 – 23 November 1990) insisted that “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” Life is full of remarkable, unbelievable possibilities—much more gigantic than anything we knew in school time. What does the true life mean? What is a beautiful and fulfilled life like? What has been the greatest happiness in your life? The space between where we are and where we want to be is only growth; the thing called life might happen in between is exhausting but truly alluring. Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to join our host Micro in sharing your experiences in knowing self worth, focusing on lives, and adding value to lives.
We can be Truly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsCPNrM8hDs Every life has purposes--we have the creation to make and carry to the end. Our life has more purposes than we think of. Only when we connect who we are, what we believe, and what we do, can we decode the hidden meanings of our lives. Our life stories tell about our values and passions, and why we are here on a bigger level. The reasons, the purposes will melt away mistakes and motivate our next movement. Voicing our purposes and their meanings is to lead all the possibilities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYtoDunfu00 Paradoxically, along the journey of pursuing our life purposes, we have to forget these purposes to be a bit playful and provoke further creativity. Loving ourselves can make the particular fear laid to rest. Besides, always remember that there are many ways that you can be you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr8_bafjW_M Above all, when the meaning is bigger than the suffering, the meaning makes you stronger. Just because of the obstacles, suddenly, everything matters. Tough moments define us--awareness of construction doesn’t diminish our pleasure, only adds to it—what really matters is how we react to the tough moments. With the shimmer of sweat on our shoulders, and the sound of feet hitting the ground as we swivel and smile, we improve our performance. And so forth, we can push aside the fears, and allow ourselves to sink into the perfect satisfaction and celebration of the moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB3shCf2d70We can be Albert Einstein. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTikv4isIGo One of our biggest blessings is having the chance to do what we love. And, why do we deserve it? Mainly because we accumulate what we have learned through the choices we have made and the challenges we have faced. Confidence and experience together make the best cocktail of self-improvement. The truth is, we don’t know we don’t know until we know we don’t know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9gzGmyDJvc Are you a curious soul in search of curious ideas to be curious about? We feel the lingering joy of learning, of feeding our hungry minds, our pure minds, of connecting everything we’ve learned with everything. Putting these together must mean something, even if we don’t always know what it is immediately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qe8gslqFUMw Yet…yet…yet, who’s to say what would have been for the best? We only find out afterwards, or, sometimes when it’s too late. Life is the manifestation of thousand transitions. Our experiences add up, and our opinions evolve, gradually. Read between lines; understand between signs; notice links between objects. Let the art form grow on us--the art form of rewarding patience and attention—for a better and better version of ourselves. https://bigthink.com/big-think-edge/nic ... ieve-goalsWe can be enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK-Hhes9fpA The Sun is warming on our faces, does the smell of the seasons changing make you happy? Happiness--we want to touch the rhythm of our hearts, the rhythm of every mental image--we want the complete immersion into happiness, into well-being, whatever they mean. Eventually, we realize what they mean. Contentment! We want everything to move more slowly—it demands deeper engagement of eye and mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzAZ0XJRtb0 All we want in life is: beauty, friendship, and happiness. When family and friends live in the deepest room in our hearts, they help us build beauty into our daily life. Our happiness stretches out its wings not only while we find our best old friend, but also while we open our hearts for the beginning of a new friendship. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UdlbnjsTx4 We ask for nothing when we are content to be allowed to soften our souls in the glances of our beloved family and friends, fascinate ourselves in the fog of their breath. Whatever we see tunnels into our mind, our dense sensitivity. No matter what strong emotions we experience, we shall move them around; we shall be able to place and balance them in our minds. Then we can experience a pleasant moment of profound well-being. Harvard professor Dr Tal Ben-Shahar has more. https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/ma ... 057400.cms "To Laugh Often And Much" (by Ralph Waldo Emerson)
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends.
To appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
Smile, while bending the back, or turning the neck. The wind of future drives us along, and we have to take decisive steps. We are travelling through the roads not taken; we have to make trails ourselves with our feet. What’s in a life? Some accomplishments and some disappointments. We dance through what we know and what we don’t know about life. The mystery of life purpose is perfectly interpreted by the transitions between the known and the unknown. Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) was an American essayist, philosopher, and a leading transcendentalist, and his reflection has done much to reassure us. “If we will be quiet and ready enough, we shall find compensation in every disappointment.” The great pain and the great pleasure come bundled in a vast vapor of insignificant incidents. Indeed, it is the everyday ordinariness that moves us. Perhaps, the world is beginning to be dramatized by a new mysterious light. Perhaps, we shall search for invisible stars shinning beyond the blue of the sky. Perhaps, we are beginning to know the world. When the journey is blurred, smile and get ready again. Our smiles dissolve the air of gloom and anxiety—our good-nature resurfaces and radiates us--we hear the story told by the solo dance. If life goes like a solo dance, whenever we’re bending the back, or turning the neck, smile, please! Join us. Thanks!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkl6jASL9bc With Gratitude,
Jasmine
