TWIN BROTHER
Good afternoon everybody. I am Jonathan. I have a twin brother. Today I wanna share with you some of our experience. My brother is younger. His name is Golden. Our birth time was only 2 minutes different. My mom told us that she was very surprised when she knew the babies were twins. She said it was fun and exciting to see two heart beats on the ultrasound monitor. But some time later, mom started complaining, because she had to feed two crying babies in the midnight. That was tired.
We met many interesting things, because people could not distinguish us. People often called the wrong name. Sometimes Golden did not do his homework but the teacher blamed me. One time, the teacher saw me at the 3rd floor, then she met Golden when she walk down to the 1st floor. The teacher was so confused. She did not figure out how I could run so fast. We sometimes confused people and that was fun.
In 1999, we attended an activity. The Largest Twins Gathering ever. There were more than 3900 pairs of twins got together in front of Taipei City Hall. Ive never seen so many twins at a time. That was really spectacular. That activity has still been listed in the Guinness World Record.
Although we are twins, and grew up in the same family, but our characters are different. Mom said this is the native difference. When we were still babies, I could play along. Golden needed to stay with somebody. I am calm and like to play computer games. Golden is more active. He likes music. He has a better feeling to rhythm. We both like reading books, but we read different types of books. I like martial art novel. Golden likes detective stories. I am generous. I often treats snack to my friends. Golden usually keeps his money in the piggy bank, so he has saved more money.
Twins are very lucky. We stay together for most of the time. We went to school together, we did homework and played together. We never felt lonely. People usually pay attention to us, so we can easily make a lot of friends.
We both feel it is really lucky and interesting to be twins !
